STATUS OF BACHELOR OF LAWS WITH HONOURS UNIVERSITY SULTAN ZAINAL ABIDIN (UniSZA)

Kindly take note that:

Pursuant to Notification under section 3 of the Legal Profession Act 1976 (Act 166), the Qualifying Board declares that any person who has passed the final examination conducted by the Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin leading to the qualification of a Degree of Bachelor of Laws (Honours) is a qualified person for the purpose of the Act with effect from 18 October 2015. Hence, all law graduates from UniSZA who have completed their LL.B programme beginning year 2015 are exempted from the CLP Examination and are permitted to undergo a period of pupillage pursuant to section 12 of the Legal Profession Act 1976 (Act 166).
